A couple mornings a week I have just these two little loves. Oh, and now the cats, too. It's quiet (usually) and there's always some sort of construction going on...
I am trying to savor these moments because they are flying by and I am missing the sweetness and simplicity of toddlers. No homework, no practices, no meetings or volunteering needed. I really, really miss those times. I NEVER thought I would. I am on a fast paced train to freedom, but then again it is sooo fun to snuggle with these boys and watch Handy Manny or Caillou without a care for the demands of the world.I am so thankful for my life and for how simple it really is.
Isaiah never gets these cats to sit with him. Imagine Darla in Nemo. Then you know how the cats feel about Isaiah. Terror. He tries so hard to be nice, but...tails are so interesting when pulled.
He was thrilled that Posey finally found his lap appealing :)
Emi is beside herself with happiness over them.
Elijah likes them, but the video games still win out. Speaking of winning, his team won 2-0 at their first game last Sat! :)
Noah is going to preschool and likes it. He's still a little nervous at drop-off, but more on that later. Gotta go get my older two and run to piano and then home to make dinner. Here we go!
