Summer!!!

We've been busy having fun this summer! That's why the blog has been on break, but here's a little attempt at a run-down...
making quilts (Eli's baby clothes and blankets for his baptism comforter)
 Swim lessons...

 Backyard parties (SOOO many!)
 These were the coolest sparklers!

 Being cute
 and cuter!
The sparklers inspired fireworks...San Bruno sells them! :)
 Those are sparklers?!
 Noah liked the snakes...

 Man is she beautiful!

 More cuteness!

Our swing which we LOVE!!!! LOVE!!! LOVE!!!

And of course baptism, more parties, family visits, Marine World...more to come!

Cousin Visits!

Elijah and our family were so lucky to have family travel from Texas and New Jersey to be here for his baptism.

We played on the swing, got dressed up (haha) and had fun just being together.
Of course, there was motorcycle riding!
 Make-up application daily (thanks Chelsea)
 Ring-pop tongue coloring...
and LEMON PICKING and fighting and playing...

Isaiah's motorcycle :)

Tom on the piano was sooooo awesome!
Isaiah loves having rides on the motorcycle from dad and grandpa. Mom becomes irate with the NO HELMET!
Hair cuts by Shari, of course...

 Shows on Grandma's bed...

 More fireworks...
Daphne's greek food for Shari and Krisit... then on to Burger King for their kids. Haha

 Those boys were best buds!
 Doesn't this look fun?
Well, it was for about the first five minutes and then we took a wrong turn and had to pump up an awful hill and had crying kids all the way back down.

 but we survived!

and the ladies enjoyed a quiet moment...
We found turtles, fish and ducks

 We had icee's and popcorn
Then we found this cool spot for the younger kids while the older ones went for a crazy bike ride!

We even had time for some meditation.. :)

We didn't take many excursions together as there was lots of shopping and lady-only eating activities going on, but we had fun and I know my kids miss their cousins a whole lot! Emi wrote to James and Clay only three days after they left telling them how much she loves them and wishes they could come back. I also wish I had gotten a picture of Ali playing with al the kids! She was amazing! She made forts, she chased them around and they sure did love playing with her! :) We'll see them again October in Texas. Yahoo!
