Random Fun in December

These two went roller skating for the first time...
Lots of hanging on the wall.
 But they had a blast!
While these two yelled their names and cheered them on!
 A new tradition, I hope! :)
Phil and I snuck away to our favorite place on the coast. The building on top of that bluff is actually exactly where our room was! AMAZING!
The tide was lower than I've ever seen it and we walked for about an hour picking up sea glass and shells. So fun!
Found a few old engines. Weird?!
 Saw lots of sea stars
 Sea anemones.

 This strange structure!?
See how far out the water was? It is usually touching the wall just below that structure.
They gave us mormon champagne-organic, no less.
I thought this gingerbread house was so cool. Gum for the shingles on the roof. Rock candy as the rocks on the stairway. Chocolate pieces as the stairs. Way cool. But that just sounds so AWFUL to try and make!
This is what it looked like in the morning. I simply couldn't stop breathing in the air and staring out the window. So amazing. Just the perfect thing to begin the holidays. I guess Phil knew exactly what we needed for Christmas! :) Love that guy.

We Went and Got our Tree, Yippee!

We're on our way to get a tree! Yippee! Funny commentary about the photos to follow...
This is this shirt's second day of life. "I like it, Mom." Okay, we're off to get a tree with a dirt shirt, yippee!
"Show me your face and smile." He does. See.
 What now?
Isaiah would have stayed here all night. In fact, he tried to get in the photo with a Latino family.
So excited, we've found the tree! Yup, Bishop is on the phone. Yippee!

See these rocks? I found them on the ground and they are your present from me.
I LOVE Home Depot with everyone in tow!
This is why it's so much fun!
His buddy Noah came to comfort him. :)
Then he's off on the next adventure...
and Isaiah is ready to go again.
I think I need one of everything! Why is he taking so many pictures?!
Elijah being eaten by the Elmo stocking.
Something I do about 6 times everyday!

Ta Da! Here's the tree! Yippee!

Noah now steals my phone and finds a place to hide and watch Caillou. This must have been one of the French episodes...:)
Hot chocolate and empty cones. Heaven!
And, of course I have to include the next morning's photo of Isaiah finding my lipstick and decorating the floor and turning himself into Rudolph. :)
