Utah!

 We took a road trip.

we stopped at the Salt Flats and shot off rockets...we'd been waiting for this moment for a LONG time!

 It did not disappoint.
We went to This is the Place and had a ton of fun with our friends we stayed with...

This photo melts me. Isaiah is getting so big and I'm glad we can freeze this cuteness in photos.
This was Noah's awkward smiling phase...it lasted for bit of the summer. ha :) Still cute, though
This stove was "Fletcher" something so of course there must be a relation
Don't the clouds look painted in the sky...like Disneyland? Love the sky in Utah
 Gold! My favorite stop

 They made necklaces.
Ever the Seminary teacher...taking photos for his class.
 The yummiest, fresh donuts.

needing a ride to Cheesecake Factory..doesn't everyone do this with their "baby?"
This is what a Fletcher kid, loving photo really looks like...
Dad promising some sort of lollipop or money to just stand and smile.

This might be the best we got.

 Love this one.
This cute boy has a hard time traveling...and he did so good with all the crazy things we did on this trip!

 Emi must always dance
 Elijah's structure

 This temple is so beautiful.

 I mean the colors...the blue sky...love it!

On the road to Hiawatha...Grandma's birth place.

sweltering heat and abandoned...except for the polygamist group that seemed to be nowhere seen, but bikes and toys were strewn about and so were cars...really eerie.
So eerie that Emi (small dot in photo above) marched off to the car. She was HOT. TIRED. and DONE!! haha
 Great Grandparents
Did I mention the sky in Utah?!!

We got to do some fireworks with the family. Super fun.

Camille has been my little buddy when she was younger than Emi...I sure miss those times with them little and singing "Color of da wviiinnnd"
 Grandpa saving Camille from Tom.
then everyone took a Tom ride

these girls had so much fun together and Emi was so sad to leave her "sisters"
the photobomber in the background got that plane at Hobby Lobby (the store I HAD to see) and then Phil might have broken it. which might have caused a bit of a problem. :)
I was sad to leave my talking partner and friend forever...
this happened to Phil's rental car so we had to go deal with this on our way home...fun.
A piece of advice...Do NOT remove a WARM cake from the bundt pan too early unless you want an earthquake cake. :)
 Arrow of Light Ceremony

during our walk to the lake above our friends' house we found a duckling...

It didn't want us to leave and would have followed us home!

Emi wasn't feeling so good. She's not a big fan of lots of change and travel either. :)

Okay. I mean this is amazing stuff.

These photos are out of order...but this is on the way to Utah. It was a LONG drive!
 with really bother to see.
except this crazy little monument in the dessert.

Proof that Phil really came with us.
Slides in Park City. SOOOO fun!
Overall it was a GREAT trip! We hope to go again next year...
