My Heart Runneth Over

My heart fluttered like a butterfly last night. I take Elijah to piano every Tues evening and I feel like my heart may beat right out of my chest. I can't stop smiling and I am just so stinking in awe of that kid. He is brilliant. All parents think their kids are amazing and I am no different. He gets piano so quickly and easily. He's already playing STAR WARS with double notes and sharps and all sorts of finger fanciness (last night was only his fifth lesson). I am just so proud of him. As I was telling Phil about how bright I think he is and how he just excels in everything Phil went down to see him and found him playing with this suitcase that we got from an old tenant of my parents'. Problem is that we don't know the code to open the thing so Phil and I were going to throw it away, but lo and behold Elijah broke the code. He just sat there for a few minutes and figured it out and now it's fixed. Sure, it was a lot of luck, but I'm telling you I don't think there's anything this kid can't figure out if he puts his mind to it. Now if only I could get him to put his mind to cleaning up and creating something that will make us rich...

Things Going On...

We got my Grandma's piano from my mom's house finally! 

 I rented a truck asked for help on facebook and the Cebreros brothers came to our rescue!

 They are both sooo cute and sweet. Can't believe someone has snatched Luis up yet. Returned missionary, sweet, and helpful! Okay, I sound like his mom. Daniel's getting ready for his mission. Love those boys!

 Elijah started piano a couple weeks before we got it and we've been playing on it ever since. It's GREAT! :) He's already learned a how to play Stars Wars by ear! Hooray!
