The notes ELijah wrote to his teachers for the end of the year. I nearly died laughing!
The gifts that we gave to the teachers at both schools:
beach bag with towel, magazine, red vines, chocolate and a card.
They were a big hit!
The day after school got out we had Elijah's birthday bash at Grandpa and Grandma's. A Nerf gun battle with forts and gear. It was great!
The girls took water guns and squirted everyone.
yes, that was A LOT of boys! But this is was the easiest and seriously fun party yet. One boy was quoted as saying, "This was the best birthday party I've ever been to." Score!
Another boy said, "Elijah, I bet you and your awesome mom made that poster. It's so cool."
Elijah replied, "My mom made it and she is awesome."
Okay, melting heart moment!
He opted for sugar cookies (camo-colored jimmies baked in) instead of cupcakes/cakes. Hooray again!
Can't believe he's 9! It's an absolute JOY to have him in our family. He is full of laughs, creativeness, kindness, silliness, a wee bit too much teasing at times :), and most importantly, a knowledge of the Gospel. I love him so much and it is so exciting to see him mature and progress!
Heaven only knows what he'll plan for next year's party...
