Being a Mom

Sometimes being a mom is hard for a different reason than the crying, demanding, need to be an octopus reasons that are typical for everyday. Sometimes you have a little boy who is sick with a fever and just needs to be held which you happily do. You leave the laundry alone, forgo the MUCH desperate trip to Costco. However, there is another little boy who's class is in need of this same mom to teach the art lesson. This same mom has missed the other lessons each time. So off I go to teach art. It's another reason why I am soooo thankful to live near family that love my kids as much as I do. Thanks Grammy Kay for helping me be a mom to Elijah today!
