Good thing it's a fixer-upper

Everyday (the rain is not his friend) Noah insists that he has things to build. He goes out back and hammers planks of wood onto our "deck."
He is extremely accurate and it seriously makes him happier to be "building" than any other activity. He got a build-it kit from Grammy that he picked out in a magazine and has already built two of the items. He's even better than Dad. :)
Our house is constantly "under repair" and though this can be extremely frustrating for someone who wants things orderly and neat and in their place (me). It is great for those who need to create and build and explore without causing harm to the "nice floor" or the new deck (basically all of our kids and their friends and occasionally Phil).
So I'm thankful that at this moment I can see these happy smiles as he's able to create and make just about whatever he can dream up with his wood and nails. :)
And that I have this little cuties eyes to stare at...
I mean no girl will be able to resist. :)

Have a happy Sunday. I'm trying to count my blessings so that I don't become frustrated by the amount of responsibilities this ward conference Sunday that I have yet to hear from the man of the house since 6am...
