Can ONE Get Any Cuter Than This?!

This was such a fun night!

 You are the CUTEST 1-Year-Old boy!

 It is impossible to take photos of four kids while they're eating lollipops! You LOVED your lollipop!

 Here's your one and only present, from Grami, OF COURSE! Our present is going to be a playset for everyone's birthday this year. Sorry, that's how it goes number four!

 There's your cupcakes we made and the kids made "ball" decorations for and Noah threw in some cars and random paper and shapes to spice things up for you.

 You were the happiest kid being sung to I've ever seen. It was seriously priceless. Too bad it was photos and not video!

Well, you've officially melted our hearts and you even slept ALL night in your own bed the day after your birthday. Yes, you woke up two times, but I never picked you up. Just helped you relocate a plug and then you were out. Okay, maybe you hummed and sung a wee bit more than I'd like, but hey it's a start!  HOOOORAAAAYY for turning one! ;)

 I can't believe how quick this year has gone!

 You are our little shining star who loves to have fun!

So happy to be outside!

Some of the things you love:

Eating, especially pancakes and meatballs 

(not necessarily together)

Playing outside, especially in the dirt!

(eating dirt)

Screaming at 1am every night (or would that be morning) until you have a little drink of water (mom cut you off the good stuff) and decide you can go back to sleep in Mom and Dad's bed!

Throwing (overhand) balls and occasionally other items 

(rocks, blocks, food)

You love to bop up and down to music, especially when the other kids are dancing around with you!

Crawling into the kids' room when they should be going to sleep and yelling, yes, yelling loudly and then crawling away, repeating the process several times before you give up and find a lap to snuggle in.

Going in the big bathtub with Noah and splashing around.

Singing. Anyone who sings you smile and laugh at.

Talking. You love to babble (LOUDLY) and try and imitate everything (peek-a-boo).

Giving pats on the back to me (your mom) when I pick you up or after you haven't seen me in a while (we're talking an hour or so)

Crawling on your belly (though now you're more on your knees).

Crawling VERY quickly to get to the door when Dad gets home and pointing to him to pick you up!

Lights. They fascinate you and make you giggle.

Closing and opening doors 

(unfortunately you've discovered that you can pin yourself in a room since we can't get the door open with you behind it)

Shaking your head no and saying nonoononono.

Right now you're holding onto the back door, bouncing, talking (LOUDLY) and laughing because you're so pleased with your new skills!

Your family. You love to be with everyone you love and we love you more than anything! You are an amazing little baby and we look forward to seeing you become a toddler (especially since you shouldn't be sleeping in our bed anymore, right?!)
