Beach Bag

If I could somehow wakeup everyday and be in my house, with my family and friends close by and yet walk out a secret hidden door that leads to Maui I would be in heaven (as would most of the world, I'm sure). Isaiah's first beach trip? Maybe we took him to HMB but I don't think so. What an introduction! He's sure to be hooked and boy did I love snuggling him!

Elijah was a surfing, snorkeling junkie! He couldn't get in the water fast enough. I'd plan to just walk along the shore and he'd be up to his head jumping the waves and making my heart stop and start when the wave would almost overtake him. He was amazing and I was so impressed. I was more afraid of the sharks and puffers and stingrays and everything else lurking the water than he was...
Noah was a trooper. He was TWO, TIRED, SICK and DETERMINED! He wouldn't stop unless we forced him to lay down and close his eyes. He didn't want to miss a single moment of fun. He was also not a fan of the camera on most days. So most of his shots are candid. So funny! HeLOVED being held and letting the waves splash him. He loved playing in the surf and LOVED, LOVED digging in the sand and making things and smashing them. He would crack up whenever the waves would touch his feet and he would run away. It was priceless.
While most women had fancy purses and beach bags and looked glamorous and had perfect figures and NO kids or maybe one and usually a nanny tagging along, this was my purse/beach bag/bag of plugs. It was great to be a mom and watcheach child (I'll mention Emi in the next post) experience this amazing place. I guess it's obvious, but I LOVE IT and I love my kids and family.
