WE HAVE GRASS!!!!!!
I am seriously so excited I can hardly contain myself.
We all got in on the fun!
Isaiah LOVES being outside and now he'll have something other than dirt to crawl on and eat! :)
We finally convinced Emi to get some clothes on (she's a fan of hanging out in underwear under a fluffy blanket watching TV) and come and join the fun. This is her idea of working in the yard attire!
Shortly after this we found her filling up and taking a bath because she had gotten dirty! Love it!
Here's our work crew (minus me-yes I did my fair share of carry, laying, cutting and perfecting the sod). It was sooooo fun and rewarding!
Noah just finished eating his waffles that were a little dirty due to his hands, but a little dirt makes them even yummier right?
Elijah was having a great time, cutting the sod, helping and just playing.
He decided to run around making some sort of motorcycle noises.??
There's a guy who is pleased with his efforts and feels accomplished. HA
We are soooo excited for all that this grass will be used for this summer. And yes, we are having the NICEST winter weather ever. It is the perfect warmth and the sun just feels so good on your skin, especially when you can sit on the grass!
What a huge job that must have been. Way to go Fletcher family! And just in time for the summer too. It's really beautiful.
